Marie Henderson is the leader of the Marie Henderson Team. Marie is an accomplished business leader in the real estate industry. She has assisted clients in reaching their real estate goals across the Main Line, Philadelphia, New York, and Washington, DC regions, for 20 + years. She learned at an early age the value of ensuring each client’s experience was excellent. One of her biggest influences was her grandmother, a real estate broker. She would go out on property site visits, which laid the foundation where she learned the real estate business.
Marie earned her Business Administration degree from San Francisco State University. She moved to Washington, DC, to work on Capitol Hill. She held a Legislative Assistant position to the late Congressman Micky Leland. Later she began her career in real estate, getting back to a purpose she knew was best to leverage her skills. Being the wife of a former NBA player and mother whose son, an NBA player who recently retired from the NBA, required her family to relocate to several cities. Being a part of the Sports industry provided additional knowledge of how players and families need real estate support during their playing season. Marie is a Compass Sports & Entertainment Division member and has successfully worked with over 75 clients in this industry. She has a unique background and perspective, which lends well to whether her clients are buyers or sellers.
Marie is a REALM member, a leading network of top luxury real estate agents in over 28 states and nine countries. This enhances her clientele with the ability to serve them globally to buy or sell a property. Helping buyer clients find their dream homes and seller clients maximize their profits is a rewarding aspect of her focus and relentless attention in this business. Marie currently serves on the board of Eddie’s House, a non-profit organization that assists young adults who have aged out of the foster care program with finding jobs, housing, and counseling. In addition, Marie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and supporting her church.
