Welcome to Wayne

Experience the unique small-town charm of one of the most historic townships in the Greater Philadelphia Area
One of the most historic communities in the Greater Philadelphia Area is the Township of Wayne. This expansive community spreads over three counties and has a ritzy and inviting appeal.
This community has historical roots dating back to the Revolutionary War, when General Anthony “Mad” Wayne helped inspire the development of this town. Today, you'll find many of the original buildings still standing in Wayne. This includes the historic Wade Hotel, which was built in 1906.
The historic appeal of this community is complemented by modern housing developments and the bustling business district. The town itself was designed to be an efficient, pedestrian-friendly locale. You’ll find that many of the retailers here are conveniently located next to one another. This allows you the opportunity to take a stroll through the community and soak in the ambiance that it has to offer.
Once you venture to the neighborhoods tucked in Wayne, you'll come across a charming atmosphere with a unique feel. This area features stunning historic homes with beautiful architectural designs, which sit on spacious lots and offer ample privacy. Stroll through these idyllic neighborhoods, and you'll come across many charming Colonial and Victorian-style homes as well as lots of new construction.
